Math:  pattern worksheet.  The students have to color a pattern
Sign Spelling Test and return
Pizza form fill out and return
chickaDEE form if you have not filled it out please do so, if you do not want to subscribe simple mark the NO thank you. Remember that the class still gets the advantage of getting some free issues if enough forms are collected.

Meet The Teacher Night

Asalam alikum, today the students will not have homework.  Insha Allah I hope to see all you here tonight at 5:30 Pm.
If you like they can read a book from home or simply ask them about patterns and if they can find any.
Spelling test next Wednesday, lesson #3.

Homework

Math: Page 4 ONLY please.  No other homework will be corrected.
Spelling test tomorrow on lesson #2 the words are posted.
Science:  Project is due tomorrow.

Terry Fox Run permission form must be returned tomorrow.  I did send an e-mail you may reply to that or send the form any way you choose is fine.

Some of the students have been doing extra math or the wrong pages. Only the work that I assign should be done. If you like your child to have extra practice do not use the pages I printed out.

Math:  Page 3 ( addition ) if your child did not complete the homework over the weekend please have it done for tomorrow.

Science:  You may look at the September 22nd archive if you are working on the animal assignment.             Just a reference.

Great Job!!!!!!

I wanted to congratulate all the students for doing such a wonderful job in their spelling test.

The star  of the week this week is Amal Abed good job Amal keep it up.

Homework

Math: Pattern worksheet.
Social Studies:  READ ONLY the page on Traditions and Heritage.  You will find this in the blue duo tang.
Spelling: Test next Wednesday
Science:  Research due Wednesday.

I did not send the readers home this weekend instead I would like them to read the page on Traditions and Heritage  and you can discuss it with your child.
Quran: Surah " Al- Infeetaar"
French: Finish " Calligraphie"
Please send the scholastic form by Monday.  If you aren't able to send a cheque cash will be fine.
Next Wednesday will be early dismissal.  Please pick up your child at 2:00 PM.

Start of the week

I would like to take this opportunity and congratulate Ayesha Ahmed.
She did an amazing job last week.
She learned the class rules quickly and applied them.

Spelling:
  •   Sign test and return.
  • All mistakes need to be written three times each on the same page of test.
Math:
  • page 22 only please.
Reading please sign log I gave all the students one today.

Science:  Due next Wednesday September 29th.
  1. Choose two animals
  2. Write down three questions about animals
  3. Find answers to those questions
  4. Write the information in point form.  Then rewrite it in sentences
  5. Draw a picture of your  two animals meeting for the first time
  6. How are your animals the same? How are they different?

Please make sure that your daughters have a white or navy blue Hijab for prayer.  These are the only two color Hijabs that they are allowed to wear.
